The Joplin MkIII is a very high resolution analog-to-digital converter with selectable input gain and impedance, suitable to accept signals from every kind of source, be it a line-level source like a tuner, a mixer or a tape deck or a low-level one like a phono pick-up.
Its performance are so high that every signal is digitized at its highest quality, for ripping into a file on a computer or to drive a digital-to-analog converter or a digital amplifier.
The Joplin MkIII works fine with all pickups, from sinple MM ones to sophisticated and difficult low-level MC models.
Up to 26 equalization curves for phono and reel tapes allow every record to be played back in the right way.
